Monday Made It!

Hey there!  This is week 3 of vacation for me!  Yay!  I have to say, this past week was rather productive in the school sense, but geez, I need to get some things done around this house that are on my to do list.  I think that I get excited to work on school things because during the year, it just doesn't happen.  KWIM?

Anywho.....  Here's what I've been up to - I will cheat again with my collages:)
Monday was a blur.  We were at the beach all day which I avoided getting the front of me burned, but not the back - sigh.  Now I'm all itchy:(  But it was such a fun day.  We even had a yummy dinner al fresco.  I got some cute pictures of A, but she deleted them - stinker.
Tuesday - we obviously needed to recover from the hectic day of Monday, ;) so we stayed in our pj's all day.  Perfect summer day!  We cleaned out some of Alyson's toys, made brownies and I even threw some newletters together:)

Wednesday we had to get out of our jammies:)  I had a plan for us - we needed to be productive - ha!  Sooooo...we stopped for coffee, picked up my contacts, went to the dollar store, and then watched Big Brother.  Do any of you watch?  I have watched each season and last year, miss Alyson watched it with me and couldn't wait for this season.

AND....Thursday and Friday pics are not here, well, because Alyson heads off with her dad then and I get down to serious business reading and getting things done.  This is what I accomplished.

Black and white Newsletters.  I have some colored ones, but I was wanted to change the look up this year.  So I made these.  4 styles per month:)

Then, I decided to crack open our new math curriculum for next year.  We have Go Math - does anyone else?  I decided I would get a jump on some math centers that went along with the program.  This is what I came up with.

I am really excited to use it:)  It reinforces skills that were taught and gets them prepared for the test.

And then, I made more Junie B. Jones sets - can't help it - I am getting these done this summer! Click on the picture to go to my TPT store:)

Annnnnnd if you read through that - thank you!!!  I can't wait to see waht everyone else has been up to.

Monday Made-it!

Woohoo, another Monday and I am ready! Linking up with 4th Grade Frolics again!

I was "school" productive this week - my house, that's another story:)  First, I'll start with some of the things we have been up to.  I consider these to be my photo collage made-its - LOL!  Does that count?  Craftiness - it's coming
We made popsicles - they were yummo!  (We also went out to lunch with Grandma on Monday)

Went to the post office - yay.  And I made some fresh Pico - so yummy!
Made it B&N on Wed.  And I "made" Alyson do some work to keep her skills sharp.
Made it to the library on Thursday.  All those books are for me (I left all mine at school).  I also got my eyeballs checked:)

Friday I was by myself.  I took my car for its first oil change.  Then I enjoyed myself a nice coffee while browsing each aisle of Hobby Lobby.  Am I the only one who does that? LOL!

And this is my real accomplishment for the week.

So far, this is what I have.  I have made some quick bbook companions to go with our class readings.  I read these every year, and I always want something that digs a little deeper into what we have read.  I think this will be a great resource for my class.  Check it out if you'd like!  Have a wonderful Monday!  We are off to the beach!

Monday Made It!

Hello!  My first Monday of vacation and I am so happy!  So much to do, and I plan on not waiting until the week before school starts.  One of my goals this summer is to blog all the things I don't have time to blog during the year, so here goes...linking up with 4th grade Frolics.

So I actually started this "made it" before school ended.  As I was taking apart my room, I was looking at things that I might want to change for next year.  My alphabet charts were the first thing I thought of.  I am in love with all of the photgraphs that are out there to use in teaching products, so I thought putting them in my alphabet charts would be a fun change.  Here is what I came up with...

Preview pics are all I have.  And although I love the zebra theme, others might not, so I created two others.

This one is named Grey Skies

And this one: Sunshine

I am also willing to alter these for any color scheme you may have, just let me know!

Have a wonderful day!  I can't wait to see what you all have up your sleeves.
