Five for Friday

Happy Friday!  This is the first Friday that I actually have things to link with

So here are my 5.

*ONE*

My classroom is almost complete!  I am loving it so far, and on Monday I will dive in to making copies and planning for the First Day.  Kinda nervous about this since I am teaching a 1/2 combo:)

*TWO* I cut my hair this week.  I needed it.  I haven't had my hair this long in, well I was 6!  I have very thick hair, so I had inches trimmed off as well as thinned out.

It feels so much better!  No more headaches when I wear a topknot!

*THREE*This printing practice pack!  I love it and can't wait to use it with my kiddos!

*FOUR*While shopping at Wally's, I found this cute lunch tote.  Kind Vera Bradleyesque!  I love it and can't wait to use it.  The best part?  $6.99.

*FIVE*Sorry this is sideways.  I found these wipe boards in the dollar spot.  The top green were from last year and I didn't use them last year, and I found the mirror ones this year!  They are the perfect boards for my sight word centers.  Right?  Super cute!

Back to Shcool Sale

What I'm Loving...

Well I am so bummed that the summer is coming to an end, but looking forward to getting things ready in my class as well.  Does that make sense? Hehe.  Anhow, I am linking up with Covered in Glitter and Glue today.

Here are my loves for this week.
1.My trusty Lakeshore laminator broke this week:(  So I looked up what most teachers were using, and this one popped up over and over.  For $25 I couldn't pass it up.  So far, it works great!  And much easier than my Lakeshore one.

2.This steal.  Wemt to Hobby Lobby and turned the corner to see this beauty.  It is perfect for my classroom!  Regular price?  $89!  Score for $9. Can't wait to use it in my class.

3.This show.  I got caught up with it, and let me tell you, it's good.

4.My classroom decor set that I shared here.

Hey-Hey

Oh my!  So I have been gathering things in order to be ready for when  I actually get into the classroom.  We don't get in until next week, so times a ticking. Things got stalled when Miss A broke her foot!  Yep!  Can't beloeve it myself but she is such a trooper!  We had a tough night on night one, but much better night two.

Here she is at Urgent Care.  Poor, girl.  She still had a smile on her face.

This smile may be because she found out she didn't need a cast, only crutches.  Only bummer, 4 weeks.  But it is so much easier without a splint or cast.

Soooo, now to the school stuff.  I wanted to share a couple things that I have shared on IG.  I couldn't seem to find what I wanted for some new Alphabet charts, numbers, calendars, etc.  So I put this together.

I have slowly added some things to this pack as I think of more things I would like to have in the pack.  But you can click on any of the pictures to head over to my TPT store.

I realized that I really wasn't too crazy about them, so Icreated this.

Much better and brighter!  I also made it available in my TPT store.  Hop on over.  There are 4 colors that you can choose from.  Blue, Pink, Purple and Green.  I also left some blank for you to edit.

Monday Made It!

Hello!  I am so happy that I finally have some things to share for Monday Made It over at 4th Grade Frolics.

If you have visited here before, you know that I have been putting some things together for the coming year.  And some of what I have made, I finally printed, and laminted, heyyyy!  Here is a look...

First...

I picked up this mini easel at Hobby Lobby and thought I could make a sign for my desk.  Here is what I did.  Not too bad.  The back of it is a wipe off board that I will stick some post its on.  I could even write notes around it.  So cute. Might have to make one for Alyson's teacher.

2. Finally made my decor set.

with no luck finding a classroom decor set I loved, I made my own.  It's all ready.  Although I have already added more things to the set.  You can take a look over here.

3. And seeing this idea floating around the internet, I made my own drawers.  They will match my room perfectly.  I am thinking I need to muy 2 more drawers so I can have ones for my first graders and one for my second graders.  More on the to do list!

4.  As I was looking through my Spetember binder, I was looking for something a little different for my kiddos to do for the first week of school.  So I came up with this.

It is a rule book for the kiddos to use to write the rules down. Here's what's in it.  I can't wait to use it!

Currently...and a freebie
